There’s something so magical about picking up a random book from your shelf and having it turn out to be exactly what you need in that moment. The Healing Season of Pottery truly lives up to its name. It’s a tender and comforting read, like a warm hug after a long day 🤍

“𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼’𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁. 𝗦𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝘁𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀.”

Sometimes, when life gets too tough, it becomes difficult to see the silver lining. This book gently reminds us to be kinder to ourselves, to leave room for mistakes and growth, and to stay open to change. To allow ourselves to pause, rest, and simply exist without feeling guilty for it. And maybe, with enough time and patience, we’ll learn to welcome a new day with a lighter heart and a softer smile.

“𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁, 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿—𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗲𝗹, 𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻—𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱, 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗲’𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳. 𝗪𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀? 𝗪𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁? 𝗡𝗼𝘄, 𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿, 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗲’𝗱 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗹-𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁. 𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿.”

What I loved most about this book is how gentle it feels. It doesn’t try to offer grand solutions to life’s struggles. Instead, it shows how healing often happens slowly, in ordinary moments, and in accepting and loving all versions of yourself. It feels like learning to hold yourself with a little more compassion and finding the courage to keep moving forward, one small step at a time ♡
