King of Wrath by Ana Huang (Kings of Sin #1)
I always love a good arranged marriage story, and Dante and Vivian’s is just chef’s kiss 👌 I actually DNFed a book before reading this, so I was desperate for a good romance, and picking up King of Wrath was the perfect choice. I think this is my favorite Ana Huang book so far, but I’ve only read the Twisted series, so that might change in the future.
Don’t you just love it when the hero and heroine can’t stand each other but end up falling in love? I live for the tension, angst, and pining! Dante and Vivian’s little moments—sharing weird snack choices, going on milkshake dates, talking about the stars—were just so adorable.
I love how Dante is so grumpy and broody about everything and everyone, but he’s soft and sweet whenever he’s with Vivian. I always appreciate a smart and empowered FMC, and Vivian is definitely that. Her dedication to her family is admirable, but even more impressive is the strength it took to confront her parents about their toxic tendencies. We could all learn from her haha!
King of Wrath was a very engaging read for me, and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series!
She's the wife he never wanted...and the weakness he never saw coming.
Ruthless. Meticulous. Arrogant.
Dante Russo thrives on control, both personally and professionally.
The billionaire CEO never planned to marry—until the threat of blackmail forces him into an engagement with a woman he barely knows.
Vivian Lau, jewelry heiress and daughter of his newest enemy.
It doesn’t matter how beautiful or charming she is. He'll do everything in his power to destroy the evidence and their betrothal.
There’s only one problem: Now that he has her...he can't bring himself to let her go.
Elegant. Ambitious. Well-mannered.
Vivian Lau is the perfect daughter and her family’s ticket into the highest echelons of high society.
Marrying a blue-blooded Russo means opening doors that would otherwise remain closed to her new-money family.
While the rude, elusive Dante isn't her idea of a dream partner, she agrees to their arranged marriage out of duty.
Craving his touch was never part of the plan.
Neither was the worst thing she could possibly do: fall in love with her future husband.
King of Wrath is a steamy arranged-marriage billionaire romance. It includes explicit content and profanity. Recommended for mature readers only.
