Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross (Letters of Enchantment #1)

Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross absolutely had me at magical typewriters and letters falling into the wrong hands aka your handsome but cold rival. It didnโt take me long at all to fall in love with this story. Iris and Roman have my whole heart ๐
What truly made this book so special for me were the letters that Iris and Roman sent to each other. They werenโt just a cute or magical element, they were essential to the story and the part I loved the most. Thereโs something so intimate about the way they slowly open up to each other, word by word, in their most honest and vulnerable forms. It makes every interaction feel so much more meaningful.
Iris is such a brave and strong woman. Sheโs been through so much, yet she remains selfless and steadfast in her purpose. She deserves all the love in the world, and Iโm so happy she found that in Roman. And oh, how he loves her ๐ฅน He really takes โif he wanted to, he wouldโ very seriously, because thereโs no doubt he would give up absolutely anything for Iris. I definitely have a soft spot for MMCs who seem emotionally unavailable on the outside but are actually soft and gooey on the inside ๐คฃ

Just a heads-up: this book ends on a cliffhanger, so make sure you have the sequel ready for the sake of your heart and sanity haha ๐๐ฅบ
