a month of reading: JUNE 2026

Image (51)-1

My biggest win in June is being able to read at least a chapter a day and reaching half of my 2026 reading goal! 🥳 I feel so happy about it since I’ve struggled to get back to reading over the past couple of months. Now, if I can just find the will to write more book reviews and post regularly like I used to, then all will be well haha jk

In June, I finished 11 books and 3 CDramas 😂 My inability to move on from Pursuit of Jade has led me to this, and I’m not complaining. If anything, I’m glad that I’m able to read books and watch CDramas at the same time. Sometimes, I get so engrossed in reading that I literally don’t indulge in any of my other hobbies, but I’m glad to find some sort of balance this month. 💖

I’ve had lots of good reads this month, but my favorites are Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt and Caught Up by Liz Tomforde. See below for all the titles I've read and my corresponding ratings.

Other side-quests in June:
IndieWeb Club Bangalore
Attended an IndieWeb session with my husband and it was a really great way to spend our Saturday afternoon. I feel so inspired seeing a group so passionate about blogging. The engaging conversation/discussion was really worth listening and contributing to.

Epilogue Book Club
One of my goals this year is join a bookclub or two in Bangalore so when the organizer, Soumya, invited me to join her bookclub's first-ever meet-up, I didn't think twice about saying yes. The book of choice for this discussion was Taiwan Travelogue by Yang Shuang-Zi. I'm really looking forward to more bookclub events!
