a month of reading: APRIL 2025
April was an amazing month for reading… but let’s just say my wallet didn’t enjoy it quite as much 😂 I managed to read a total of 13 books, but I also bought almost twice as many. Send help! I clearly have no self-control when it comes to books 🤦🏻♀️
Here are a few of my reading highlights this month:
✨ Favorite Reads I was completely obsessed with When We Were and Six Morning Kisses by Diana Elliot Graham. I’m still not over them and honestly, I don’t think I will be anytime soon. They’ve officially moved into permanent residency in my brain.
✨ Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone This month’s wildcard read was And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. I don’t usually read mysteries or thrillers, but I’m trying to ease into the genre. My husband recommended this one, and I really enjoyed it! I thought I had it all figured out…turns out I was way off haha
✨ Reading Goal Update I’ve read 40 books so far this year, which puts me well on track toward my goal of 60! I’ve been trying to stay consistent by reading at least one chapter a day and it’s made such a big difference. Here’s hoping I can keep the streak going through the rest of the year 🤞
